Rub-a-dub-dub.
My boy is in the tub.
Again.
As our backyard is one hundred percent mud, he often has a bath twice a day.
All manner of toys go in the bathtub.
Trains.
Dinosaurs.
Foam blocks.
He is usually happy in there, splashing around, for at least a half an hour.
I have found myself using the time…and the mostly contained and mostly stationary subject…to practice photography.
I am really enjoying experimenting with my Olympus OM-D-E-M10.
I think learning to do something new is so refreshing.
Photography is literally teaching me to look at the world in a different way.
And I have an entirely new appreciation of the photography I have long admired on some of the blogs that I read…I always admired the beauty of the photographs but now I also recognise the skill of the photographer.
Are you learning to do something new?
Do you find that trying something new stretches you?
As always, I am linking up with Jodi at Practicing Simplicity.
And as always, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
