I remember how I felt when Charlie was a newborn.
At the time, my husband had a demanding job.  A few hours after Charlie was born, he went back to working twelve hour days, six days a week.

We all get it.
We all recognise the importance of self care.
And I know we would all love to put ourselves first on our to do lists.
I dream of waking to a still and silent house, meditating, drinking a hot coffee, and spending some time writing.
But that never, ever happens.
