A rainy Sunday colouring session.
To cap off what has felt like a lazy week, we are enjoying a lazy Sunday.
I woke up early, took myself and my book to the cafe, and read and sipped a coffee before heading to yoga.
During yoga, I could hear a few heavy drops soon become steady rainfall.
It was properly pouring when class finished.
After splashing home, taking a hot shower, and enjoying another hot coffee, I was ready to settle in on the couch.
And I am still here!
At some point I read more

One prowling dinosaur, one grrring dinosaur, and one dog.
What if.
At The MAMA Circle, we spoke a lot about asking ourselves what if.
Not in terms of dreaming.
But in terms of letting go.
What if you didn’t vacuum the house.
How would that feel?
What if you put your child in after school care one day a week?
How would that feel?

His tag fell off (or was chewed off) years ago.
His feet have worn away.
I am not sure if he has eyes anymore.
But he is loved.
And needed.
I am sure Charlie could sleep without him but I know he wouldn’t ever choose to.

I must admit, in those early years, Puppy Bunny was a bit of a parenting crutch.

Luckily his school isn’t strict about uniforms…so he can wear mismatched socks.
That face!
Week three is done and dusted.
Is it bad that I am counting down to week ten and school holidays already?

Charlie is LOVING school.
He comes home every day absolutely bursting with stories of things that happened in the classroom, at lunch time, and in their nature play area.
But he is tired.
Exhausted really.
I can see in his eyes that he needs rest, but I find that he has read more
